Hey. Our team here at VisionXtream really like your artwork. Would you like to join our game making team as a volunteer as have done all the other professional artists? Well if so please mail me and if you would like to see our teams list please go here --> [link]
Hey , btw , Playing alone is rather boring andyou seem to be a nice guy so...would you like to be my partner when i start to slaughter all the evil Demons and all? Its allways funnier in a Team^^ And maybe well find even more People here on dA
Well, he's the same guy you play in Diablo 2, and it's two decades later, so he's aged a bit. I actually think he looks cooler when he's old. The whole bald-with-ponytail look he had in D2 just didn't do it for me.
The same guy? Where did it say that? I guess it being the same dude does make sense. Is he the only one of the playable characters that survives? I haven't completed D2 yet. I just started playing the game and I'm stuck in Act II. I can't defeat Duriel!
I remember the developers saying he's the same guy from D2 in interviews from back when D3 was first revealed, but I'm sure it says so elsewhere as well. He's the only playable character from D2 that will be playable in D3. I can't say for sure if any of the others will pop up as NPCs somewhere. However, it's been said that people who were involved in fighting the demons have since gone insane or have died, so we can expect that's what happened to the characters we don't see again.
Duriel hits pretty hard, heh. Just gain a few levels, and get a good act 2 mercenary. Stock up on town portals, so you can go get more potions (thawing pots too maybe) and revive the mercenary a few times.
My char is a 27 spear/javazon. I don't have the expansion so a mercenary might not help. he does buy me a little time for me to put up a portal. I've got thawing pots but that didn't help much either. AFter taking a thawing pot, he just hits me again.
I honestly don't know what they are. :] I just drew some vicious looking skinny horned things.
And I'm afraid the Druid won't be returning in D3. At least not as a playable character. Blizzard have said that the only playable character returning, is the Barbarian. However, they've also said that some of the other playable characters may return in expansions, but they haven't really started thinking about whether they want to bring them back or not.
oh my god this is amazing how on earth do you colour this on computer it must take months. Im trying to learn computer drawing, i've done some stuff already but i cant understand how you do this I use photoshop CS 2 is there better for this kind of art? if so i would realy appreciate it if you could give me some program names. you're sorceress drawings inspired me to do one of my own you can look if you want but its no where near as good as this. Thanks.
The drawing took one week to finish, which is more time than it should have. x) You'll always discover new methods of doing things if you fiddle around with the program enough, or look up a few tutorials or anything like that. Just keep working. :] I'm also using Photoshop. I'd love to learn how to use Corel Painter, 'cause it's got some cool tools, but I never seem to get around to it. The most helpful tool I have, however, is my tablet. If you don't have one, and would like to continue doing digital art, I suggest you get one. I looked at your sorceress. The first thing I noticed is that you've copied and flipped half of her body over to finish it. While the human body is near symmetrical, drawing it like that makes the picture look kind of stiff and you lose some dynamism in the composition. Still, I think your drawing is cool. Keep it up. :]
Thanks i have tablet and im still getting use to it, its not the same as drawing on paper little more tricky in my opinion As for copying and fliping i only copied and fliped her arms the rest i drew when you say one week do you mean like 168 hours or just did a bit every day for a week i preffer my moagim picture Also do you line you're pictures out then colour? and is there like some way to blend colours other then zooming right in and changing every pixel?
By one week I mean a bit every day. I don't do detailed line art before I start coloring, although many people do that, and it works well. It's something I'm thinking about getting used to. In this drawing, however, I started by blocking in shapes very roughly, and then gradually adding detail until I get the result I want. To blend colors, simply change the Opacity and Flow (shown at the top of the screen when you have your brush enabled). I usually keep the Opacity at 100% and Flow at anything between 1% and 100%, depending on how opaque I want my lines to be. You should also go to the brush menu and add Shape Dynamics and Other Dynamics. Play around with the settings until you get something you're comfortable with. You won't break anything by enabling all sorts of stuff there. You can always go back to a default brush and start over, so go ahead and try things out. Blending colors nicely takes a little bit of practice. I'm still not particularly good at it. But you'll get the hang of it eventually.
try painting in a color in a lighter opacity and then holding the Alt key (while using a brush)to pick the new variation of color and paint with that. Repeat as necessary. This will allow you to blend your colors with precision. The Alt key while in brush mode, is the same thing as using the eyedropper tool. So paint in, pick the new color, paint in with the new color, pick the next new shade, etc. Have fun!
I somehow cannot really get along with the new barbarian... the old one looked imho much better. But that is not the issue of that artwork at all! It is really great. This scene would fit into the chaos sanctuary of D2 in my eyes, very nice surrounding and details!
